Virgin Atlantic Reward+ card cancelling before anniversary
Hello....hope this makes sense.
My anniversary date is the 14th August and I've got to spend £10k in order to receive a voucher and I know I'll definitely do that by mid April.
I took the card out because I had just downsized property to my 'forever' home which needed major refurbishment work and new furniture & fittings so was able to earn my first voucher within the first 5 months. I've also always repaid the full amount every month so have never incurred any interest.
Now all work has been completed I feel to pay the £160 annual fee would not be justified - so if I was to cancel my card say mid June would I still receive my reward voucher by cancelling the card before 14th August?

Once the voucher has been credited to your VA Flying Club account (up to a month after you've achieved the spend required) then there is no requirement or link that requires you to be holding the credit card any longer that I can see in the Terms.
Maybe downgrade the card to the free VA credit card rather than simply cancelling the paid-for version?
