Monzo has disabled my account, it's been two weeks and no updates
Over the holidays my bank account suddenly stopped working. I gather I've been flagged as suspicious, the only thing that I can think that happened is I received a significant pay out (5 figures) when my employment ended with work. I totally understand that they have rules they need to follow so can't / won't say anything.…

Why are bank cashback switch payments now so strict?
Majority say you now can have never had a switch payment ever! Which is now excluding many for me, and the dates eligible are now 5/6 years ago too.

Direct Debits
I recently discovered 2 direct debits had been set up on my current bank account. These were new and no money had gone. I did not set these up or authorise anyone to set them up so I assumed some fraudulent activity. On contacting the bank I was advised that they do not notify customers when new direct debits are set up…

Starling Bank pooped on by a gang of mangy seagulls
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. A gang of mangy seagulls clearly saw Starling Bank coming and have not only swooped down and stolen all their chips but then flew away and pooped on them from a great height as they left, squawking and laughing evilly. Yes, Starling have launched new branding, but they clearly have been ripped…

TransferGo.com
Hi, I wanted your opinion on that provider of money transfer. This is the second time a bank refuses to transfer to them. They are a LTD company and look legit. They come up on the list of providers on those comparison sites but the banks consider them high risk and won't transfer unless you really want to and answer all…

Hello, After a few problems with Lloyds Bank I'm considering moving back to first direct. I'm just wondering if anyone has any recent experience of them? Bank Account for Golf Society
Does anyone out there know of a bank account suitable for a Golf Society that doesn't charge a monthly fee? The account would need to accept cash/cheques and bank transfers from members and be able to pay out by card or bank transfer to any Golf Club that the Society plays at. A personal bank account is not suitable, so…
