Virgin Media
Hi, i'm not sure if this is the best home for this thread but basically due to Virgin unable to tie a deal with Sky basic package, virgin are telling their customer they are not going to pay silly money to Sky and pass the extra chanrge to its customers. however if you are like me and on a bundle package, 2 for £20 then…

moving house
Hello, I'm shortly going to be moving and want to cancel my AOL broadband. I'm a little concerned at how this is gonna go (having heard the same scare stories as everyone else), but I have a question about MACC codes. I am moving somewhere close by, where I will probably start a new contract with a new provider using a…

Cheapest Orange Broadband
It would seem I am paying over the odds for my basic Orange Broadband. I was an existing Freeserve customer who got transferred to Orange, and I'm still paying £17.99 a month for basic Broadband connection. My question is, how recently have you been able to get switched from £17.99 to £12.99 ? I just rang and got offered…

Dial-up headache....
Okay here's the deal..... Currently with orange anytime at £17 p/m for dial-up, Bt for landline around £20 p/m = £37 p/m. There are packages around which could give both for around £17 p/m. Now here's where the trouble starts. Living outside Swansea Sth Wales in the styx, the local exchange is B/band enabled and has been…

Any gripes about the Sky BB/TV/phones pkg?
I've read the various threads about the Virgin et al. package, Vodaphone and many other providers (I'm not one really to mess with my providers because there are so many nightmare companies out there and I'm really not one for checking bills and dealing with hassles!) but I'm interested in the Sky deal - anyone with any…

Hi there, I'm interested to know who is the root provider for each of the broadband ISP's. for instance who is the broadband connection ultimately with when you sign up with Utility Warehouse or MadasaFish? TalkTalk e-mail down for 6 days and counting!
If you're a TalkTalk Broadband user, and you make use of their e-mail service no doubt you'll have noticed it's been intermittent at best, or totally unusable of late. Evidently there's a Server Down again, similar to the problem over Christmas, just that this server outage has lasted somewhat longer. This time TalkTalk do…

Cheap + NO contract limit broadband
Hi, I am constantly on the move and so was looking for decent cheap broadband but without the 18month or 12 month contract limit that is usually imposed. It can be as a package with phone line or broadband on its own. Any ideas? Many thanks Update: Make that NO limit or 3-6 months limit on the contract!

Madasafish/IC24 "No Minimum Contract" small print
I signed up for an IC24 (now Madasafish) Broadband connection 14 months ago. I moved into a rented property and wasn't sure how long I'd be there so I wanted an ISP with no minimum contract. As it happens I've been there over a year, now I want to upgrade my account to one with a higher download limit, I shopped around,…
