I'm currently with Pipex, and sign-up in October.

however I am moving house next month to somewhere without a phone line and I have no real intention of installing one.

Is there a way to cancell my broadband, or if i do have to, then move it for free?

Cancelling depends on if you signed up for a monthly or a yearly contract. You should be able to give your notice if you are on a monthly one, otherwise they're within their rights to charge you if you cancel the years contract.

No won't get it moved for free. If there's no phone line at all, you would have to pay BT to get it installed. If there's a phone line there, but the lines deactivated, I think, though don't quote be on it, they might activate it for free. You'll probably have to sign a years contract though.
As for the broadband, Pipex will have to pay BT to put the ADSL on the line, so they'll probably transfer that cost to you.
