Help - What is the Best Value Broadband Package for me - Biscit?

I currently have a BT phone line paying line rental by DD (£11'ish per month). I use call18185 for calls (about £3 per month) and firefly dial-up internet connection (£25 pre paid which lasts about a year).
I thought it was about time I came into the information age and got some broadband, but I am currently paying about £15ish per month for all my phone and internet access. How much extra will I need to pay to include broadband here?
TalkTalk are not offering broadband in my postal area and I am not with Orange or Sky, so cannot use those cost effectively.
I thought about Biscit that is offering £20 per month including line rental and some free calls chucked in. Is that the best bet?
I know Martin recommends Tiscali for people in my situation, but unless I'm reading it incorrectly, that is another £15 per month on top of the line rental with BT, so that would work out approx another £5 per month more expensive.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Biscuit have a terrible reputation for billing people long after they have left, threatening them with court action for moneys no longer owed and libel if they say anything about them, also it appears they are in financial trouble.
