3GBs of RAM but still slow as ****
Has anyone got any ideas on how I can speed my machine up at home, It has 3gb of ram, a 2.4 ghz dual processor but still takes ages to load up. unable to access the internet......
but can send an email. My home laptop was fine yesterday until about 8pm when I was no longer able to access the internet but could still send and receive emails? I turned everything off and then back on but still the same. What could be causing this? I am using IE and Virgin 2mb

Desktop PC seems to be running slow
Hi, ever since connecting my desktop to the internet and downloading programmes and things, the computer seems lot slower then usual, this is noticeable when booting up... Are there any programmes I can use to troubleshoot the problem? I hope I haven't downloaded something bad or damaged something :eek:
