Can you recommend free family tree drawing software?

Step-daughter is doing a family tree project for school - is there a good free software programme for drawing the pesky things for you - I can never get the spacing right to fit everyone in when you do it manually!

Personal Ancestral File (PAF) is a free genealogy and family history program. It's available from The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It asks for registration - but I've never received any junk mail from them.

Sorry to nitpick, it is not free, it is shareware but not time limited and is free to download

I second this one, used it for years without problems [still evaluating it if you like ]
