Is this in breach of the data Protection Act.
I had a call yesterday from some of those dreadful ambulance type chasers - the company was called "Clear claim", and were based in Liverpool. (The number of the company is 0151 7072125, and they appear to run several different types of [strike]nuisance[/strike] cold calling companies) Now, I was a bit upset by this, as…

Acer Laptops
I bought a new Acer laptop a year ago. It was terrible. I gave up when the warranty ran out. I sent an email complaining about…

Price by weight or item
Just been to Sainsburys, and they are now selling tomatoes by individual item, but in a pack. Big ones in a pack are 31p, little ones are 15p each. Had 5 minute discussion with grocery manager (turned into arguement) about which were better value. I like to know how much something is by weight, especially when its a…

O2 changing to a lower tariff after 6 months
I bought a pocketPC phone on a £30 a month tariff with the idea of switching to a £16 a month tariff after 6 months. This meant that I got the phone for about £140 cheaper than if I'd bought it pre-pay. I won't know until I've got the next bill whether O2 have actually switched me to their £16 a month service for sure BUT…
