Lookers
I paid £10K for a 9 months old Meriva in April 2006 from a Lookers garage (Vauxhall/Network Q) with the promise that they would repair a particular bad scratch at a later date convenient to us. My partner was 9 months pregnant at the time hence the rush to take the car as it was. Only one key was supplied but they would…

Congratulations for getting over the grossness of my thread title and actually reading this! My OH bought some knickers for my 2-yr old daughter in Woolies, only to get home and discover that the packet had been already opened and taped shut again. When we opened it, several pairs of the knickers inside were filthy -…

B&Q Delivery...appalling service!
At the end of May I ordered a new kitchen from B&Q. I was really pleased with the service they gave and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was given a delivery date of 8th July (today). They rang me last night to advise that my brand spanking new kitchen would be with me between 9 and 12 this morning. Another great…

student finance
My daughter applied for all the usual stuff on the 17th May, post office put stamps on, and sent it. We received it back today 8th July as Refused, not sufficient postage. Last date was 30th June for receiving this claim. Any ideas??? Very disappointed it took RM nearly 8 weeks to send it back though.

Realmatch.co.uk is a total scam. they claimed to have buyers queuing up for my motorbike that was up for sale at the time. Somerfield Till Receipts
Please be aware that, if you use chip and pin in some Somerfield Supermarkets, the till receipt prints out your full credit card number and its expiry date. If anyone found this in your bin, they would have enough information for a mail order shopping spree. (I posted this under 'credit cards' at first - I didn't intend to…

Catching Scammers!!
As we all know, through mediums such as Ebay, the friday ads etc, scammera operate to rip-off sellers. One of the most common scams is to send a bankers draft of say £3000 to pay for an item worth £100 and ask the seller to return the £2900 difference. The bank will credit your account but eventually will realise the check…

Royal mail - again
I've registered with TPS and MPS and they both work beautifully - except that we seem to be getting more and more of those hand delivered letters addressed to 'the occupier' that are delivered by the postman. Surely if I've told them I don't want junk mail, then this would also apply to the junk delivered by hand. My OH…

WARNING: don't buy an iPod from the Apple shop
Someone bought me an iPod in November and last month it packed up. I tried to return it to the Apple Store in Regent Street, where it was bought, and they refused to accept it. Instead they directed me to their website. This takes you through a procedure whereby you are sent a replacement via UPS. You give a credit card…

Add and review estate/letting agents. Hope it helps anyone that is venting…
