I have just recieved an email from cashbin requesting my address details as I am the 'daily winner'
As far as I know, I am not a member of cashbin, and reading up on it it seems they pay out via paypal, so could this be a scam to try to hack into my paypal account?
I have searched the site also and see no mention of a daily competition.
the email is very poorly written..

hi there,
could you please fill out your adress area as you was picked for the daily winner but we can not send it you as we have no address for you.

Looks like they have a few sites that give the prize out. Searching for the phone number on Google brought up todaysprize.co.uk.
This has the following sites listed under the contact us page:
todaysprize.co.uk
cashbin.co.uk
glowbay.co.uk
freetorecruit.co.uk
coregdata.com
Have you been to any of them recently?
However, that email is disgraceful and I would be extremely surprised if that is legit!0 -
actually i did join 'glowbay' to get mutualpoints..lol
could be that
I have responded via email asking what the prize is, and how I can verify it..
I'll report back if I get a response!Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

I used to be with cashbin.co.uk and there was a monthly competition. I remember the site and emails used to always have bad spelling and grammer.
Basically the site is one of those referral ones where you get 2p for visiting a website, lol. Could be legit, but if they pay via PayPal which they always claimed to do, they shouldn't need your address, only a PayPal account name.0 -
lol lol lol holly..wish i'd thought of that
I'll wait to see if she replies to my email..if not forgetr it..I'm definitly not calling that number.hehe
plus my 'prize' may well be a glowstick..wooohoooMembre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

Been around for a while, fairly small company, the marketing "director" is probably also the marketing departments whipping boy (ie only 1 person in marketing) hence the less than amazing email. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I tried cash bin and gave up with it only they would let me un subscribe so i had to delete the email add and start again with a new one to get rid of them. In fact this must be about 12 months ago i restored the old user name/email add and i still had their mails coming through so i deleted it again. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone they did my head in.0
