Has anyone else had problems with this company?

I ordered a clearance item on 28th June, and on 29th June they left me an answerphone message saying that someone else had just beat me to it.

However, I still have not have my credit card refunded. I phoned them again on Friday and was told that it should have gone through and that he would put the refund through again.

I am a bit worried about this as I have not used them before, and need the balance back on my card before the statement date so that I don't have to pay interest, also I am getting worried about getting the refund at all.

If anyone has used them before I would be grateful to hear of their experience of this company.

If they have taken the money off your card ring your credit card company and ask them to start a chargeback and get your money refunded.

It can take up to 10 working days for the joys of credit card refunds to come through (just in the same way it can take 10 days (or longer) for the shop to actually receive the money from you buying something).

You can speak to your credit cards disputed payment team but I am sure they will say it is too early to consider a chargeback given the level of fine that the store receives for having a chargeback.

You would normally get 21 or more days interest free time after your statement date before interest is applied so this shouldnt be an issue.
