Gruyere cheese ideas please?
I got a free pack of tesco finest gruyere cheese. I opened it to have a bit with my salad and ugghhhh the smell! I cannot eat smelly cheese lol! Quick cake help needed!!!!
Hi, I'm baking a fruit cake as we speak, eggs and butter are creamed ready for 200g of plain flour - weigh the flour and I only have 100g!!!! In my cupboards I have Self raising 00 pasta flour Strong white bread flour Are any of these a suitable substitution? Help!

tips for darkening suede
hi folks, treated myself to a pair of ugg boots for the winter. First pair ever and are ex display at half price because the left boot is slightly lightened with the sun. blancmange -strange way to eat it?
I've never eaten set blancmange, my mum always cooked it till thick like custard then into a bowl with grated shortbread on top. Anyone else had it like this?

Vegetarian suet recipes?
I cleaned out my baking cupboard this morning and found a pack of vegetarian suet that I bought last xmas and haven't opened (I didn't look at the date, I don't care :D ). It was supposed to be for veggie mince pies but I don't fancy that idea now. Can I use it for pastry etc, like you would normal suet?
