gazpacho recipe needed
Hi there Having just read the 5 a day thread I am determined to up my fruit/veg intake, I love soups but in the summer (well supposed summer) I am less inclined to have soup - but I thought gazpacho would be good as its a fresh cold soup does anyone have a good recipe & is there any way of freezing this? many thanks BB

Making marmalade from non-citrus fruits
We love marmalade in our house, and although we make jam from our soft fruits, we prefer our preserves with a zippy tang. rather than being a sweet preserve. I wonder if anybody can suggest how , or has a well-tried recipe for making a marmalade out of soft fruits such as redcurrants, blackcurrants, etc.

smoked mackerel flakes (kiln baked) storage questions
The vacuum packet says this product is not suitable for home freezing whereas the use by date is today. So,the question is - Why cannot it be frozen;loss of quality or it has been frozen before? Also,would fridge storage be okay for a few days? Thanks.

silicone cooking utensils?
are they the way forward? i find wooden ones get stained and are a nightmare to clean if something dries on, plastic ones melt and are a nightmare to clean around the melted bits and metal ones get hot and scratch off the non-stick! i think cos they are soft and bendy i am a little dubious about their heat resisting…

Removing dirty rain stain from clothes
I got caught in a heavy shower of rain today and my new white jeans have stains on the bottom of them, almost up to the knees when I splashed them. I have washed them normally when I got home but they are still marked. Has anyone any ideas of how I might get these stains out?
