Removing dirty rain stain from clothes

I got caught in a heavy shower of rain today and my new white jeans have stains on the bottom of them, almost up to the knees when I splashed them. I have washed them normally when I got home but they are still marked. Has anyone any ideas of how I might get these stains out?

Rain splashes are slightly oily from the fine film that gets deposited on the pavement especially after a spell of fine weather, that is what makes the stain hard to shift. Try a stain remover for oily stains that you rub on before washingIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

soak in cold water and soda crystals overnight, this will loosen it, then wash as normalGrocery challenge year budget €3K Jan €190 Feb €225 Mar €313 Apr €202 May €224 June €329 July €518 Aug €231Sep €389 Oct €314 Nov €358 Dec €335 Total spent €3628

Thanks to all. Tried a stain remover today, some of the marks have come out but not all, so will give the bleach and/or soda crystals a try.0
