BM dough option question.
I've decided to make a french stick today using my panasonic BM. Its preparing the dough now! When its finished I need to 'Leave to prove'. As I understand this means leaving it for a while in a warm place to rise:o (This is confusing me because in the French Dough program part of the process includes a long rising period…

Slow cooker/Remoska or Halogen Oven?
In order to stay in a job  I'm going to be living away from home during the week in a room in a shared house. There is a fair amount of freezer space (I'm told) and my plan is to do a smaller version of batch cooking whilst there and to do stir fries etc. so I don't have to spend all night cooking. I'm torn…

Rubbery grease on baking tray - best removal?
I really hate this stuff when washing up. I don't have a dishwasher and will usually let things soak for a while so that you can just wipe them with a dishcloth and they're clean. What I can't find an easy fix for is this white/grey rubbery grease that's left on the baking tray after some foods. When I scrub with a scourer…

It's the right width to make some rather nice underwear I think and after researching online (And finally finding some free patterns) I'm going to give it a go later on today. So has anyone else tried this…

I'm now off work for the day with a sick littlie, so have a bit…
