Recipe needed from old Bero book please
I used to have a Bero book recipe from many years ago for a Banana loaf. It only used one banana and you put everything in a blender. It was cooked in a 1LB loaf tin and it said to put icing on the top. I wondered if anyone still has this recipe as I can't find it? TIA

Can someone answer what might be a stupid question?
We have burgers and sausages in the freezer, we bought them frozen and have kept them in the freezer since then. Now my daughter is convinced that you cant defrost said burgers or sausages to cook and that they MUST be cooked from frozen. If this is the case then that's a new one on me. So basically, can you…

Storing shop bought fruit and veg
I went to a wholesaler today and they have big bags of onions, peppers and apples and I was wondering if I can store these at home under the conditions you would store homegrown produce, or do you think now they have travelled and been in refridgerated warehouses they won't store well for as long?

What cookbooks would you 'save' ?
We are starting the huge clearout necessary before we move to a smaller house (children flown nest, garden too big etc etc) So I started to wonder which of my cookbooks I'd 'save'. I mentally gave myself space for about 10 (out of what must be nearly 100 - I'm a hoarder of books - and everything, really) and to my…

Need some mothers day meal help/inspiration
Thought I'd better invite the old girl round for dinner as I'm too poor to take her out, plus I've been here 7 months now and she's never been round for dinner (bad me) So starter. I was thinking prawns and avocado with an oldschool marie rose sauce a la Jamie Oliver. Very simple and only takes 20 mins. OK, what do…

http://www.casamexico.co.uk/products/detail.php?category=61&product_id=931 Since I went to visit my dd in Mexico, I've hankered after a tortilla press.
