oven thermometer
Have a broken thermostat on the oven, the gas flow is still adjustable. I want to mount a permanent thermometer inside the oven. Just wondered if any of you have done this. I found thermometers I think would be ok left inside the oven 24/7 for a few quid, but do you know of any…

Previously I've used the stock and meat to make a chicken soup (mighty fine it was too). But this time I'd like to have ago at making a chicken crumble. Trouble is I'm…

Morphy Richards Intellichef Multi Cooker
Hi all, Anyone have a Morphy Richards Intellichef? I might have accidentally bought one in Makro today and wondering if it was worth it. Apparently it's a 9 in 1 cooker, as it slow cooks, steams, frys, bakes, reheats, keeps warm, cooks rice and others. I figured it would free up cupboard space but before I decide to take…

green top milk?
Any milk experts out there - I've got my first bottle of milk this morning. It's green top which as far as I knew was untreated but on the foil top it's stamped to say it's pasteurised. Had a quick google but that said all milk sold through milkmen was pasteurised and raw milk has to have a warning label on - but on…
