Really stupid question but I'm stumped
I have to do an emergency repair on one of DD2's favourite soft toys. So I sowed it up and stuck a plaster on it to just be silly
Now I can get the bl**dy thing off!
Any ideas how to remove it without ripping the toy?

if its a fabric plaster and not a waterproof onetry putting the toy in the freezer for a couple of hours hopefully it should then come off easily0

WD40 is excellent for unsticking things. I'm not sure how it would affect the fabric of the toy though. If you go very carefully with a cotton bud dipped in WD40 you may find it comes off.0

I would still try putting it in the freezer. I would have thought that a waterproof plaster would come off, when frozen, easier than a fabric one.

Have you tried rubbing neat washing up liquid in as a way of 'loosening' things? It shouldn't hurt...
Good luck.
Also, see if there is a double of the toy on ebay... Hope you do not need this.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
No idea if this would work on 'fur', but blasting a hairdryer on full heat allows labels on the bottom of new shoes to peel off easily...probably a similar type of stickyness, but might not have the same effect - worth a go though!0

Liquid hand soap is good and so is shaving foam and neither will hurt the fabricBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
