Anybody know how to make rice cakes

Options
homemade rice cakes. I absolutely love them and just wondered if it is possible to make my own ones?

    There's a recipe for them in Ken Hom's Chinese Cookery.
    I've just realised this book is older than my kids (1984) :o

    Ermmmm thanks for the recipes so far but I was thinking of rice cakes that use puffed rice..... so they end up tasting like savoury crackers....

    Unless you can make or buy puffed rice, I think you are going to struggle.

    my health food shops sells the puffed rice but have no idea how you'd make i stick together sorry
