Panny getting very noisy

Options
My beloved panny is now very very noisy when it kneads. As we usually run it overnight to finish about 7.30 thats a problem.

(I dont like running it when i am out due to an incident with a teabag catching fire in the BM once)

i dont really want to replace the BM, or the pan if I can help it. Anyone know how to quieten it down so I can actually get some sleep?

thanks

I have just got to ask - what was a tea bag doing in the Bread Maker in the first place?

Is this a new form of 'tea bread'?

    :D

  • It could be the bearings wearing out - have you tried a little oil on the bottom round bit of the pan?

well the tea bags are on the shelf above and one fell into the BM, and we didnt realise until the flames started appearing. amazingly BM survived to knead another day, not the panny I should add.
