Iphone SE 2020 storage question
am going to buy this phone to replace my iPhone 5. I think 64gb enough storage but am a bit confused. I don’t play games. My needs are just emails, web searches, messages , what’s apps, a few podcasts and photos. I take a lot of photos of the grandchildren etc and pay a small amount for iCloud storage each month. My…

Having trouble unlocking mobile to change network
Hi everyone I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem or has any ideas about what to do about it. I've been with EE for three years. I originally took out a two year contract with them when I bought a new LG handset in their shop in June 2017. In June 2018 I took out a new Sim only year long contract with…

EE overcharging since 2018 - no end of contract notification
Hi everyone! Hope you're all well and keeping safe.I was going through my Dad's bills today to find that he's been paying £51 every month since mid-2018 on his EE contract!!! I asked him why this was and he said he didn't know - we rang up EE today and they said his contract ended back then and they continued to…

Android Update
Hi all, Has anyone else recently had an Android update which has messed up their auto typing? I am having to type out each word letter by letter for texts and WhatsApp messages. It's so time consuming and annoying. Is there a way to delete the update at all? I want it to go back to how it was yesterday. Thanks.

Historic phone bill
Hi folks. I’m wondering if it is possible to challenge an old mobile phone bill. I received a bill of approximately £3500, for roaming charges, around 12 years ago. Any ideas/advice is greatly appreciated.

Advice sim card, no contract, one top up a year
Hello friends, I need a sim card for very basic/little/or almost no use. No contract. Something that I would have to top up only once a year to make sure the sim doesn't get deactivated... Do you think there is something like this available on the market? Thanks a lot

Can anyone tell me which is true and how to go about it?
Why do mobile phone networks make this so difficult? Right, long story short. I'm currently with Vodafone who completely screwed up my account at one point losing my number that I've had for years and the only way to resolve it was to get a new number. As a result I'm super nervous about losing my number again. Anyway, my…

3 mobile terminating old contracts
I just got an email to say 3 are no longer offering the contract I have (which is now on a rolling basis after the minimum term being completed) and I will be moved to a more expensive monthly plan from early August unless I choose a new 12/24 month contract or cancel my existing contract prior to the date they've…

Using PAC code in time
On the 1st of this month I requested a PAC code from EE which is valid for another two days until 30 June. I'm moving to a sim only with O2. I would've preferred to move earlier in the month but had been concerned about paying for two contracts overlapping so saw out the majority of my 30 days notice period before using…

How to cancel my new Three SIM only plan and stop my number being ported from old provider
I successfully applied for a 12 month sim only plan with Three on Thursday. As part of the sign up I provided my PAC code to port my number from O2. I want to stop the number being ported over and cancel the SIM only. Reason is I misunderstood when my O2 contract ended (I thought it was 30 June but its 31 July). I've been…

Best phone for me?
I'm ideally looking for an iPhone however I won't rule out other smartphones. I'm looking for something durable that I can use for many years to come. Also with a battery life that'll stay healthy for many years too. Ideally I'd like to be using the phone for 4+ years. As I say, I'm leaning towards an iPhone but planned…

Mobile Phones Direct
I signed up on Thursday for a new contact on o2 (currently on EE) and assumed I'd get it next day as the website states 🙄 its taken them until this morning to tell me that it's been declined.. even though they've taken the money for the upfront cost of the phone (they've said I'll be refunded no problem). Any ideas why…

Taking my number to a SIM only deal
This is my first post, and apologies that I’m not tech savvy! I have an existing phone contract with Vodaphone which has now come to the end of the contract period. I have tried to change today to a SIM only deal, still with Vodaphone, but have been told that as the deal which suits me is in their basic range I cannot take…

NHS discount -now costs £10
I upgraded my Vodafone mobile yesterday and was told there is now a £10 charge to continue to receive the 15% discount as an NHS worker. I have never been charged this before having been a Vodafone customer for many years. This seems a very bad business decision especially in light of the current pandemic and the hard work…

Virgin/EE has been down all day today, it finally came back on about 5.30pm. However, although I can make and receive calls, and according to the settings of my phone, data is on, it isn't. For FB and receiving e-mails, I have to be connected to my wifi. Before I have to contact the awful customer services in India or…

Authorisation codes
I feel I can't be the only one who has trouble getting authorisation codes to my mobile. I live in an area where we don't receive signal, therefore whenever I am requested to renew an account or need one to pay for items I am unable to do so. Whenever I can, I request they send it to my landline number or my email address…

EE data transfer
Hi Hopefully someone here will be able to assist as EE are worse than useless in trying to contact them. My employer is in hospital with intermittent wifi, so using the data on his phone. He has used his allowance for the month ( we think, phone saying allowance used, online account saying only 25% used) so we explored the…

O2 have never charged me for my phone upgrade
Hi everyone, got a slight worry here! In October of 2018, I upgraded my sim only deal with o2 via the website mobiles.co.uk. The upgrade I went for was for an IPhone XR at £34 a month, so I was now paying for a sim AND a phone. Obviously the phone has came, and I put in the new sim etc, and I’ve now just realised that I’m…
