Android Update

Hi all,
Has anyone else recently had an Android update which has messed up their auto typing?

I am having to type out each word letter by letter for texts and WhatsApp messages. It's so time consuming and annoying.

Is there a way to delete the update at all? I want it to go back to how it was yesterday.

    Are you sure it's not just switch off auto complete?
    Post the make and model...

    Assuming Android 9, you can change the keyboard settings in Settings -> System -> Languages & Input -> Virtual Keyboard and you should have the GBoard option and look in Preferences and Text Correction (the Auto-correction is in the Text Correction section).

    Its a Samsung Galaxy S10. 
    It's doing my head in. It was just fine before the update.

    Oh it seems to have worked now. I had to go into the keyboard settings and erase personal predictions. I have no idea what that is or how it came about but it's working fine now. Phew.
