I signed up on Thursday for a new contact on o2 (currently on EE) and assumed I'd get it next day as the website states 🙄 its taken them until this morning to tell me that it's been declined.. even though they've taken the money for the upfront cost of the phone (they've said I'll be refunded no problem). Any ideas why this would happen? I've checked my credit score this morning which is fine.. always pay credit card bills etc. I'm baffled and a bit concerned now!
I have noticed that the deal has gone now so could it be that they've pulled the deal because it was good and therefore cancelled mine?

You checked your credit report not score, the score is a number that only you can see.

You could be declined for any reason, maybe you just didn't fit the customer profile.
    Any defaults ?

Have you bee at your address less than 6 months?
Are you on the electoral roll?
Had you applied for anything else on credit in the last 14 days?
  • I've been at my address for 20+ years, on the electoral roll and haven't applied for anything in the last 14 days so I am baffled!

Annoying it was such a great deal and now there is nothing similar out there.
