BT *sigh*
Just spent half an hour on the phone to BT querying my final bill having moved to Plusnet on 8th Dec. I'd paid my broadband in advance to 26th Dec so was expecting a refund. I had paid my line rental in advance. The final bill showed the refund then a charge for line rental for the whole month. It took half an hour of…

RESOLVED: EE cancellation nightmare!
I joined EE broadband on the 13th December as part of my cost cutting regime and it went live on the 29th December. I was specifically told online I had a 14 day cooling off period was I not happy with the performance of the speeds the service offered. So I've had the service for 2 days and the speeds are dire so I've been…

Disconnection charge-EE
I have changed broadband and home telephone provider from EE to BT. EE wrote to me confirming this and informing me of my final bill amount. My service with EE ceased on 18th November, but my account is still active and they are still withdrawing payments from the direct debit mandate (x1). There was no mention of a MAC…

Evening all Just wondering if anybody has experienced the following and what they did if so. My BT contract started on Jan 9th 2014 and when it came to renewal time they were very uncompetitive so I switched to Talk Talk with my connection with them beginning today (all up and running I may add too). Today I have received…

is FTTP "real" yet?
Appreciate it isn't exactly money saving, but is proper FTTP available from any providers yet outside of a couple of isolated local trials? My line (house to cab) seems to be awful, is connected to a cab out of sight (not exactly sure where, but the guy drove to it during install,,,) despite there being one within about…

It's a long story, but I would appreciate a link to the BT representative on the forum - my last port of call before writing formally to head office. Will post the saga once I have managed to get some sense from someone who can speak English.

BT OpenReach internet fault for over 2 weeks - caused by rain?
Hi all, am writing this on my parents behalf... They are retired and live in North West Scotland, and I wouldn't say they're vulnerable, but could certainly do with the Internet! They've been told by BT that heavy rain has caused the fault in their line. After a bit of reading, is this likely to do with the underground…

BT upped my bill on a goodwill offer
I had numerous problems with BT in ordering fibre optic, after many emails batted back and forth I was offered Infinity 2 at £20/m as a goodwill gesture. My bills have now gone up to £21.84/m, I guess they've increased prices across the packages but do I have any rights to cancel this?

How is Plusnet for broadband and landline in NI? (Totally dissatisfied with EE).
Having dreadful lack of service with EE as a new customer. Considering Plusnet or BT but would appreciate feedback before I sign up in light of unsuccessful EE MSE deal. (I signed up online for MSE EE broadband and landline deal on 26 Nov. and am STILL waiting for service, which was supposed to be live in 10 days. I tried…
