talktalk llu to plusnet

as TT were unable to offer me any sort of deal when my 12 month contract ran out this month i have started the switch to plusnet to get £50 cashback and £65 quidco - i am on the talktalk LLU service at present - can anyone tell me
1. do i have to contact TT to inform them i am leaving? get a cease date or MAC code etc - or will plusnet deal with everything?
2. do TT only charge up until my service swaps to plusnet or is there a notice period to pay for? i am out of contract at present
cheers

  • If you are keeping your number then plusnet should contact talk talk and the change should be quite smooth. As you are on an unbundled line you wouldn't need a MAC.

If plusnet are doing a new line provide and provisioning a new number then you still wont need a mac but you may have to cancel the service with talk talk as the plusnet order wont necessarily automatically initiate a cancellation. Also, it may work out more expensive as there may be a small charge for the new line
