Sky Upgrade/Cooling off/Special offer

I Upgraded to sky fibre from regular broadband and this was activat on the 18th as i understand my cooling period lasts 14 days (1st Jan)
however in this time they have started 6 months free offer upon upgrade, i asked if this could be applied retroactivly they said no , am i entitled to cancel the upgrade then take out the offer

    1. The cooling off period ends as soon as service is provided -it only applies whilst you are waiting for the install -so if you cancel you will be liable for full cancellation charges.
    2. Sky are far too cute anyway for the "cancel then reapply at the same address" trick to work!!
