Just spent half an hour on the phone to BT querying my final bill having moved to Plusnet on 8th Dec. I'd paid my broadband in advance to 26th Dec so was expecting a refund. I had paid my line rental in advance.

The final bill showed the refund then a charge for line rental for the whole month. It took half an hour of arguing on the phone before they agreed there had been a mistake.

I found it really hard to explain to the very nice person who took the call as their English was quite poor. Mission accomplished in the end though.
