Talk Talk offering refund
Hi guys, I'm new here, but thought I should join in with the Talk Talk stuff that's going on. In a nutshell, my story is this: 1. Signed up for home phone with Onetel, who I have used for years and I quite liked. 2. The landline arm was taken over by Talk Talk 3. When we moved house, I asked Talk Talk to reconnect the line…

Sick of Virgin - any views on Orange?
Getting thoroughly fed up of Virgin (was with NTL) as they keep messing me about. Firstly was signed up for £8.99 for 12 months. My broadband was cut off after 9 months for 3 days and was impossible to get an answer from the Indian call centre. Eventually found out that is was because they had been sending one bill which…

Sky see, speak & surf package
I'm toying with the idea of getting this package. I am a Naims broadband customer (£12.99 per month) so with all that's going on there I need to sort out a new provider, and we pay something in the region of £85 per quarter to BT for our telephone bill. I make it around £495 we are currently paying but if we go to Sky it…

Monthly Broadband
Does any company offer monthly broadband, or are willing to let you take a "holiday" in the first year, and then give you the months back later. I shall be travelling extensively later this year, and want to put my broadband connection "on hold" until I come back. Currently I have a work connection, but that will be…

Do you think we should have to haggle for a good Virgin Cable/BB Deal ?
Hi Do you think we should have to haggle for a good Virgin Cable/BB Deal ? or should the prices be set at attractive levels so we dont feel the need to ring them up ? To read on here the number of different deals in different combinations of time limits and prices is amazing, but should prices be fixed at a good…

Tiscali Internet (Lack of!)
We have been with Tiscali for about 2 years and we recently advised them that we were moving but we wanted to stay with Tiscali. We were moving on second March and they told us we would be fully connected by 6 March. On 6 March we were not able to use the internet and after a few phonecalls each advising us of a different…

TalkTalk STILL LYING to Customers-But getting better ???
Seems TalkTalk are still ripping off their customers. Don't believe the dates they give you. I was supposed to go live with them today. Their website even says my broadband is available today. However, no modem, no filters, no starter pack with installation CD. So rang them up. Their reply was 'Oh that's just your…

Supanet Broadband £7.99/month. 8Mb. Unlimited
I was with Supanet a year ago, but thanks to MSE I changed to Madasafish and got a faster line and lowered charges. Before migrating I offered Supanet the chance to reduce it's charges but they couldn't so I went with Madasafish. My 12 months were up them late Feb so I got a MAC code to migrate and offered them the chance…

Internet/Phone/TV package deals?
I currently pay £11 per month in line rental approx. to BT and am a very light user of the telephone (use mobile for free calls). I have Tiscali Broadband 2mb at £14.99 per month. I am looking for a package similar to Tiscali’s new TV/Homechoice package, which offers line rental, 2mb broadband and free digital TV for £25…

Demon "no record" of my cancellation, £200 poorer
My Broadband with Demon stopped working in August of last year. I couldn't get it to work for whatever reason, so rather than continuing to struggle and not having Broadband, I phoned them in October to cancel my account. They said that it would continue to be billed to the end of November for whatever reason. Fine,…

Ntl/virgin Charges
I recently took up the broadband with NTL and the first bill came and told me had £10 to pay. I then called them and stated that when my mums account was closed the £80 credit was to be transferred into my account. Sounds simple. They agreed that they would credit my account with that £80. Fine and dandy. I got a letter…

All Virgin users
Virgin website states " there are two great ways to get broadband * by fibre optic cable ( on cable ) * or down your phone line ( non-cable ) Either way you can look forward to a better service............" There is nothing in the small print to say the offer of £10 a month for 2mb unlimited is only the price for cable.…
