Hi
Do you think we should have to haggle for a good Virgin Cable/BB Deal ?
or should the prices be set at attractive levels so we dont feel the need to ring them up ?
To read on here the number of different deals in different combinations of time limits and prices is amazing, but should prices be fixed at a good competitive level with maybe some extra fixed discount for the length of time you have been a customer ?
Its been so interesting reading about the deals, but some seem to depend on which operator or time of day that people ring in , is that right ?

I'm sure if you're not happy with the price they offer then the best thing you can do is take your custom elsewhere, no one forces you to pay their prices, its just they're more inclined to reduce your monthly bills if your a loyal customer!0

In NTL days, the Retention Discounts were often for fixed periods.
Virgin seem to be giving permanent discounts, as long as you don't change package & are strongly competing with other providers (Sky, Tiscali, Talk Talk).
Unfortunately it's difficult to haggle without knowing all discounts on offer.
Some things they can offer on Retention Discount, others they cannot discount.
The advisors know what they can discount & how much they can offer.
I have just got another discount today.
