2mb AOL Silver - What speed are you getting

in Broadband & internet access
ive been with AOL for about a month and was getting dwonloads of about 1500kbs/2000kbps, but this week its been strugling to acheive 1000kbps. Ive spoken to AOL and they've said anyhting between 400/2000 is normal. Has anybody else noticed a drop in speed.

    You might being capped , does it only happen from around 6-10pm ?

    Im on Silver 1mb (waiting to be upgraded to 2mb) and always get good speeds

    yes I'm capped... I have never ever had more than 576 :mad: ... how can they cap me If I have never had full speed? they said it's because my pc is on 24/7 (mostly idle)

    what does capped mean?
    i am with aol on gold and i am only getting speeds of max 960
