Now we have broadband it's causing our answerphone to be really crackly when someone leaves a message (we have tested it and it's definately broadband causing the problem.) We have tried putting the answerphone in a different room but it doesn't help. Has anyone had the same problem or know how to solve it? Many thanks.

Are you using the necessary filter?0

We have a filter plugged into every phone socket in the house. I'm not very tech savvy I'm afraid, is there a special filter for an answerphone?0

That could be a problem, depending on how many sockets you have in your property. ADSL filters only need to be fitted to sockets that are actually in use and a standard filter should be fine for your answerphone. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
problem solved. We didn't have a filter plugged directly in to the answerphone (don't know why we didn't think of this before) and have removed the filters from the sockets not being used. Thanks for your help.0
