i want to switch internet provider

Im contracted to tiscali til aug and here's the problem; i want to go to orange for internet and phone, purely because my wife phones abroad to her family ALOT and its free with their broadband. I dont want to take another contract phone cos im with o2 til jan. So it looks like ill be without internet from aug til jan. What do you guys think I should do?
