My sisters moving to the countryside where the nearest exchange is quite a bit away.
According to adslchecker the exchange is adsl enabled however she should only be able to achieve speeds upto 512Kbps
In these circumstances who would people recommend she go for?
is it better to go for a 8mbps package or is it just as good going for a 512kbps package?
This is in Wales so no other equipment in any exchanges i.e. no carphonewarehouse or sky packages etc
Thanks

The only thing I would suggest is to have a look at the ratings on the DSL Zone site and start compiling a short list, if Sky are going to unbundle the local exchange within 6 months you may get the £5.00 a month connect package.
