Jam
I'm an experienced jam maker but with jams made with citrus peel (I like jams with tang) either fine shred or sliced the peel is invariably tough and unpleasant though the taste is good. I've tried a bit of overnight soaking but seems to make little difference. Anyone got a good method to make the peel intact but softish I…

Weekly Flylady Thread 20th April 2026
Welcome to the weekly Flylady Thread. What is FLYLADY? Best cream tea scones
In using up (woe is me) a tub of clotted cream, I've inadvertently compared two brands of scones - Tesco finest and coop irresistible. While Tesco's are larger and softer, they tend to fall apart when applying the clotted cream (which by the laws of science and decency, should be applied first). Coops are smaller, but…

double query - printing on jeans and baggy sweater help
OK so I've treated myself to some long overdue new clothes. And have a couple of problems. Scratchy printing on the inside of jeans - lovely new pair of jeans, proper jeans not lycra or shredded or whatever and they fit me properly too. So perfect right? Yes except that for some reason there is some large printing inside…
