Are we all sleepy this morning?

I’m not @Gers - I had an awful nights sleep so am up having a coffee and am not going to yoga☹️ Thank you for the start this morning x
Think I’ll leave DH to the remaining demolition today and potter in the garden. We were meant to have roast lamb but I forgot to get the joint out of the freezer(!) so will have to sort something else out
Have a good day everyone

My late DM always swore that the phases of the moon affected her sleep, especially the full moon and the new moon, we have a new moon right now. Who knows?

I will make Yorkshire pudding and veg when we come back but otherwise not a lot will be happening. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers, the spoons sound lovely.
Sorry you had a bad night Coxy, pottering in the garden sounds just the thing.
Bright and sunny this morning, bedding in the WM and windows all open. Will clean the bathrooms in a while.
Must do some food shopping today as I'm back at work tomorrow so need to be organised. Once that's done I'll do another hour at the allotment and get some more potatoes in.
I started knitting a cardigan for the little one last night whilst watching TV but found out there is a cable pattern, something I've not done before so abandoned the side and started on a sleeve until I get a cable needle. The little one chose the pattern and yarn - very brightly multi coloured and slightly headache inducing!
Glad you enjoyed your boat trip SSue and your hip isn't too sore.
Sounds like you've had fun with the family Snoozer.
Enjoy your stay at the caravan TA, hope the weather is kind to you.
Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday and lots of sunshine. Take care. XX

Morning & thanks Gers. I've been awake ages but had to come downstairs as an Am…. driver rang the doorbell at 7 & woke Ldog up & he got very giddy! It's a lovely morning here but cold.
Shame about the lamb joint Coxy. We're having roast beef, previously cooked & frozen so nice and easy. I've taken some scones out too.DH had a dodgy tum yesterday and didn't want the stir fry.
Nothing at all planned for today, probably more footie on tv, and have just started a new book.
Hope you all have a good day 😊

Good morning
Bright and sunny here, although a little chilly still.
I haven't posted for a couple of days, nothing to report and I get fed up of saying the same old, and I'm sure you get fed up of reading it.
I've started washing the walls and skirting down, again. It really is a job keeping it clean with big dog, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The sunshine seems to show up every mark.
Will do a roast later, with either lamb or beef, both of which are ready cooked and frozen.
@Gers, I haven't been sleeping too well lately, maybe your DM was right.
Have a good day all, take care.

Made it downstairs, all ablutions done and coffee made too.
@IzzyBee - has my new clothing vibe reached you? 😀
Despite having no plans to go out yesterday I received a text from Marks to tell me that an order had arrived in, three days early! So, I plodded up there (the tourist season has started) to collect the two pairs of chinos. At home I found that they fitted me differently, one pair had tight legs and the other a tight waist. Same order, same product. Anyway, have decided to keep both as my weight-loss journey hasn't ended. The pink pair will be perfect for the anniversary do.
The drive up and down the long road was slow though lovely, apart from the sudden ninja showers which came out of nowhere, dumped gallons and then disappeared again in under three minutes.
The wee Alessi spoons are fab. I was unsure as the photo of them shows one half of the bowl black but, happily, it was only the marketing to show the half of the heart (I think). When I checked them out on the JL site, where I bought them from, they had returned to the pre-sale price so I got a bargain.
@remmie - most of days are dull and I often repeat myself so you write away please. It's reassuring to read that not everyone has the life of a celebrity, is going to great swish parties and travelling on luxury yachts with pop star friends. Most times it's what we in Scotland call 'old clothes and porridge'. The rhythm (and sometimes banality) of everyday life is what keeps me going.
Have a great time in the caravan @TravellingAbuela, maybe the weather will be kind to you. Mind you, I want the weather to be kind to me too so no hogging of the sunshine please?
Enjoy your time in the allotment @camelot1001.
I'll be avoiding all the sport on TV, no idea how but I will! Hugs to all poorlies and sads.

Morning all
Bright and sunny here but with a stiff breeze it’s quite chilly, I potted on my seedlings yesterday I have more growing 😳 the conservatory is going to be very full! I planted the sweet peas out so hopefully they will be ok.
I have stripped the bed this morning so the wm is doing its thing, it should dry well today, and there is another load to go in after.
Dinner tonight will be pork chops with cubed garlic potatoes and green beans and asparagus, I will do mum a dinner too, she declined an Indian last night saying she was going to cook but I bet she didn’t.
A small miracle I got paid yesterday 😃 but she hasn’t paid the court fee or interest that the court set, so the case is not closed yet but at least I have the majority of it, the court will not close it till it’s all paid she will be spitting feathers when she finds out!
Might do a bit more gardening today I saw some bedding plants yesterday but didn’t pick any up so may go and get some and get them planted.
Have good days all and take care xx

Lovely blue sky out there but I hung some towels out earlier and that wind was quite cold. I've just cleaned out the bird baths as some birds seem to put bread in there to soften, I'm not making this up as I watched a couple of magpies do it the other week, so it makes the water yucky! I watered the garden too as we don't seem to be getting any rain next week.
Glad you got paid @RedRuby1231 but she's not out of the woods yet is she!
Curry for dinner and then another couple of footie matches to watch this afternoon
Have a good day all

Morning all, thanks @Gers. Like you, I shall be avoiding TV's offering of sport!
The sun has got its hat on today and there's not a cloud in sight! It looks as if we're in for a fairly settled week so @TA may well be in for a good few days at the 'van. 🙂
Lots of pottering jobs completed yesterday, including writing out a new To Do list - the old one had so many crossings out and scribbles on it that it wasn't really fit for purpose. Sure, the things on it are still to be done but (strangely) it's as if my brain has had a Spring clean! I've nothing in particular planned for today - maybe I
couldshould tackle at least one of the To Do tasks! 😁@remmie - Witter away as much as you want! As @Gers points out, most days are of the rinse and repeat variety and not always exciting!
@Ruby - I'm so pleased to hear you've been (mostly) paid, well done.
@Coxy - Sorry you had a bad night's sleep, hope you manage to find something else for dinner in place of the lamb.
Right, Sunday brunch calls so I'll wish everyone a peaceful day. Enjoy the sun if you have it and take care. X
Be kind to others and to yourself too.9
