Morning folks and thanks GERS. We have a full day of sun forecast, though for now it's still feeling a bit nippy.
After a day spent doing nothing but resting and nursing my injuries yesterday I had a better night and today I feel fit for light duties. And lesson learned - when I am coming up the front steps watch where I am going instead of eyeing up the weeds in the front garden at the same time!
We seem to have quite a few poorlies on here just now. RUBY I hope you get some help with your ongoing problem, it sounds worrying. And COXY fingers crossed you will soon have the bites responding to treatment. SSue just (HUGS) Have a good day folks and take care x

Morning again - good to hear that you are healing @TravellingAbuela, hope that's the same for @RedRuby1231 and @Coxy11 and anyone else having ills. A big hug to @Suffolksue too.
I'm up and at 'em, I've moved my car away from the side of my house to the side track leading to the farm as the council roadworks team are renewing the tarmacadam and (with luck) filling in the multiple potholes outside. Today they are doing the stretch from the end of the drive of the big house right round to past the farm so I'll be stuck. Front door will be firmly shut too so I've got it open now even though the morning is chilly. Once they start I'll be confined to the house and back garden.
My shopping trip yesterday was very quick, I was back home by 10a.m. Once again Boots don't have the blister pack collection box out - seems that they have four full ones in their storage area and are waiting for their van to uplift them. It's been more than two months now so I phoned their customer service line to try to nudge it along.
I wish everyone a happy and warm, perhaps even hot, day. No fall, trips or difficult medical appointments. xx

Morning all
Sunny morning here but expecting strong gusts of wind later. Not sure about putting bedding out in case it ends up in someone else's garden!
Snap re the potholes @Gers Our road was filled in yesterday. They've done a proper job this time after years of just filling in the holes and them crumbling away after a few weeks. So no more driving down like a slalom avoiding all the holes.
No plans today except some housework and listening out for a delivery that DS has asked to be sent here as he is at work all week where usually he has a few days where he can work from home.
Hope all the poorlies are feeling better.
Have a good day all x

Good.morning, thanks Gers.
I haven't posted for a few days, we were away last week, and the days slip away so quickly - I realised yesterday I hadn't posted for a while.
It's fine here, yesterday was a bit grey and gloomy though.
Sorry to read that you'd hurt yourself TA, shakes you up doesn't it. Hope you're feeling a bit better. Thoughts to the other poorlies as well.
. I've just got the usual jobs today, nothing exciting going on.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Morning - thanks for the start
Nice to see the sun back, yesterday was decidedly chilly. I have a dental appointment first thing, and need to pop to the optician cos I looked down yesterday and my glasses fell off - no idea what’s going on there.
Today’s big task is a spring clean of a bedroom, mattress and pillow protectors etc already in the wash and I got ahead yesterday and emptied under the bed and cleaned the large book case so it won’t be too big a job - just a vacuum and dust really. Also doing window linings as im going around - they are embarrassingly filthy!
Hope all the poorlies recover soon. Take care all

Good morning all and thanks for the start @Gers How peculiar that the roads are being fixed now for both you and @Chrisca50 🤔
My bites still look awful but the itching has abated. Thanks for the remedy @RedRuby1231 - I didn’t succumb in the end as it sounded barbaric(!) but am persevering with the AH’s and cream. The photo DH took of the backs of my legs - well I looked like Mammy Two Shoes from Tom & Jerry!
Glad you rested up yesterday @TravellingAbuela - my Dad trips up all the time and my Stepmum shouts ‘mindfulness’ at him! Not sure it works tbh as he’s easily distracted.
I’m working a full day today and also tomorrow morning, luckily from home. The money will come in handy. En-suite now at tiling stage and hoping the Velux window will be in today too. Dinner is chicken curry with rice.
Hugs to @Suffolksue and anyone else in need.

Good morning
Bright start here, warmer than yesterday already, but expecting wind later.
Didn't go to the store yesterday, DH now thinks he will go Friday. Instead popped to the local Ald* for a top up. Noticed that a tin of corned beef has gone up 14p from last week.
No idea what's for tea, but plenty in.
Hope our poorlies are feeling better, and hugs for SS. Have a good day all, take care.

The price rises are getting ridiculous now.arent they.REMMIE. My DF said the jam she usually gets at M's had gone up by 18p since last week.

Morning all
Nice bright day here with a good breeze the washing should dry well today.
The GP phoned yesterday and has asked me to do a sample and drop it in, that’s fine but the only trouble is I can’t now go as I took some Imodium in desperation, I’m sure I will go at some point.
I applied for some more jobs yesterday so hopefully I will hear something soon, I also heard from the court so went ahead and replied to the case 🤞
Dinner tonight for OH and dd will be bacon egg and chips I’m not sure I will fancy that but will make something else if I don’t, there is always pasta or toast which seems to be the only thing I am wanting atm.
Dogs to be walked later and I will hoover through, the man is coming tomorrow to service the boiler so I need to clean the cupboard that the boiler is in, it’s mainly coats and shoes so won’t take long.
TA glad you are feeling a bit less sore xx
Have good days all and take care xx10
