Nice bright day here I have a wash on the go so will get that hung out once it’s finished.

I need to contact the Dr today I have had a really upset tummy for over a week and I can’t keep anything in, I’m supposed to be taking mum to the Dr today but I really don’t want her getting this so my sister will go instead, I will try and go to hers on Wednesday if I am better.

Dinner tonight for OH is pork belly with rice and peas, I don’t think I can face that so I will just have some toast or something plain, dd is working late so will eat at work.

I finally got some petunias yesterday and got them in, I need to get some more hanging baskets as I had to chuck three of mine last year, so will get them at some point and some more plants 😬

Im going to take the dogs out this morning and then have a rest this afternoon.

Morning Everyone

Thanks for the start Ruby.

The sun is shining at the moment but there are darker clouds gathering so I don't think it'll be as nice as yesterday.

Busy day for me yesterday, cleaned the upstairs windows inside and out and downstairs outside, also washed the car whilst I had the hose out - something I don't do very often! Garden chairs brought up from the cellar, table uncovered, all door and bath mats washed and put back. My bedroom had a good hoover too, those dust bunnies were gathering under the bed.

Also did some ironing whilst chatting to DS2 and hearing all about their holiday to Egypt.

Izzy, there are three seasons here too, although it's been warm and sunny it's chilly in the evenings and I've been lighting the fire.

Hope your bites are healing Coxy.

Work today and really must go and do some digging at the allotment later, didn't go yesterday.

Morning all

Back home now from dog sitting. My DS went to Amsterdam from school 30 odd years ago and he brought me back a keyring with little clogs on it. I showed him it the other day to remind him of his first visit. He brought me back another one yesterday too! Also some lovely tulips to plant for next year. Can't stop singing tulips from Amsterdam song now!

Breadmaker going on later, will water my dwarf sunflower seedlings and, I think, the garden too. Bed to strip and remake too.

I am working in the office today. The bites on my legs are awful - am dosing up on AH’s and bite cream but they’re really lumpy and hot! Just need to not scratch them 😬

BIL will be back today and is tiling the floor, so that’s exciting. Dinner tonight is spaghetti bolognaise.

As usual not much happening here. I don't seem to have any enthusiasm for the garden so I'm just trying to do one or two jobs each day. Yesterday was tomatoes into their final pots. It's been quite warm with no rain, already emptied 3 water butts.

morning everyone hope you feel better soon Redruby it’s nice and bright here but rain is forecast for later . I’m going to meet with my friend soon for a coffee and a catch up she will be sick of hearing me today I’m full of moans I don’t know if I’ve said before but the house we live in now is near a cricket ground we have a big high wall out of the back and we put a really high fence on top of it we can’t sit out when they play cricket because balls come over and we know some of them try to get balls over in 5 years we have paid nearly 5 thousand pounds on repairs to the roof and they regularly break garden ornaments and pots it’s not just us it’s the whole street when you try and talk to them it’s always well we are just a small local club and we have no money well it hadn’t been started long when a ball came over and broke a pot hubby refused to give them the ball back I waited all day for repercussion from this sure enough on the afternoon they put the bedroom window out so he went charging round like a raging bull came back with the chairman who has said they will definitely pay for it to be put back in I will not give up this time and I have told him I want it in this week and I will be checking with the local lad that they are supposed to be getting it sorted with I’m not giving in this time he said you know if you want to sit out in the nice weather you can always come and sit round the cricket club no I don’t want to spend all weekend sat in a field I’m absolutely fed up today never mind I’m sure I will feel better when I’ve had my walk . In other news I got my nails done with a builder he’ll about 5 weeks ago they were so shabby looking well I’m getting them done again tonight and I’m going to make an appointment for 4 weeks time so they are looking nice for my holiday hopefully I won’t come home from my holiday with anymore windows put out right I will give you all a break from my moaning. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Coxy, the bites sound awful, hope they stop itching soon.

It's back to being sunny after being a bit hazy and cloudy yesterday.We had a lovely woodland/stream walk yesterday, we wanted a cooler walk for DDog as he has been off his food & poorly tum but seems ok now.

I cooked a roast chicken yesterday with all the trimmings,plenty left but I'll freeze the rest in a pie I think.Mince in some form for tea.Once we got back from our walk DH and DS1 were busy doing car bits in the back garden but at least DH cleared all the associated clutter from the kitchen worktop and table.

Right better get on- hope you all have a good day,take care.

Sunny start to the day, but showers forecast later.

Now, I wonder if today's the day we're going to go to B and Emm and The Rang? Obviously this paint DH wants to get isn't urgent. He plans it the day before then can't be bothered. Oh well, it'll be a surprise.

Dinner tonight will be a shop bought steak pie (shock horror). I'm not putting the oven on just to make a pie. What a rebel.

@IzzyBee How do you put up with the cricket year after year? And the damage to your garden and house. The one place you want to feel safe in is your home.

@RedRuby1231 Hope you can get a doctors appointment or see the pharmacist, and feel better soon.

Morning folks and thanks RUBY. I hope you are lucky getting an appointment.

I got back from my caravan jaunt late yesterday afternoon. Apart from the first two bitter cold days (and nights) the weather was unbelievingly kind. Lots of sunshine so much sitting out reading was done. I was sorry to leave and plan on going back soon to take advantage of the ridiculously high annual fees and fuel costs we pay.

So today it's back to the grindstone. Much washing to do. One load done last night and 2 more to do today. But first I have the dental appointment. Hopefully just a check up. When back I should water all the pots too they all look a bit dry.

Ouch IZZIE that's a lot of damage to your house. Aren't they insured against damages, I'm sure they should be. Have a good day folks if you can, with ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all, stay safe x

@IzzyBee that's absolutely awful the way they have treated you over the years. I'd go to the local papers and show them up big time. Also maybe local community police officers?
