Morning all, thanks for the start @Ruby. I'm sorry you're having problems with your tummy, I hope you manage to get in touch with the Dr and feel better soon.

Bright blue skies and a gentle breeze again today although the rain could make an appearance later this afternoon. In general, this week looks to be good apart from tomorrow's cloudy start.

Yesterday I received a parcel delivery of ……….. coat hangers! For years I've made do with plastic ones that drive me mad and now I've replaced them all with nice wooden ones. I don't use the Big River site myself but got DS to order them for me on his account and I have to say I'm impressed with the quality, not too expensive either.

Today I'm going to have a walk to the surgery to request the other login details I need for my new NHS account and then call in at the next door pharmacy to collect DS's tablets - if they're ready. He set off for Eastbourne very early this morning and I've no idea what time he'll get home tonight so I'm going to make a salad for tea and will leave his plated up in the fridge.

@camelot - I'm not surprised you didn't get to the allotment yesterday, you were busy enough dealing with windows and dust bunnies! 😁

@Coxy - I hope your legs stop itching soon, trying not the scratch the bites is easier said than done though.

@Izzy - Moan away, I'd be seething in your situation. I hope you get your window replaced quickly. Surely the cricket club must have insurance or at least a contingency fund to cover these kinds of costs? Mind you, even if they did, it wouldn't help you with the inconvenience of it all. 😒

Another terrible night

My son came yesterday and talked a lot of sense ,my head definitely agrees with him,my heart finds it incredibly difficult and I’m so frightened for the future
