I have been accused of making a benefit fraud report to DWP/HMRC, as apparently the people were TOLD
is that possible? I made no so report as I have no time nor care for that However I just googled it and it said everything is anonymous anyway so I am wondering how it is possible that this happened in an interview, where the people being interviewed apparently got TOLD that it was me who done it?

Mandatory Reconsideration
Hi. I have just submitted a Mandatory Reconsideration for PIP as I don't think they took into consideration that my mobility had deteriorated dramatically when they looked at my renewal, and I wondered if anyone has had experience of requesting a Reconsideration and how long it will take. Do they send a text to acknowledge…

Youreable disability forum down?
Does anyone know if the Youreable forum has been taken down permanently? There's just a notice for site maintenance but it's been like this now for several weeks. youreable.livingmadeeasy.org.uk One of the most helpful disability forums that I've been a member of for close to 10 years, it'd be such a shame if it's not…

Universal Credit - Deprivation of Capital.
I am shortly to receive a lump sum from NHS Continuing Health Care which is a repayment of care fees paid by my now deceased mother between 2019 and 2021. It has taken 3.5 years since her death (2022) to get CHC to admit my mother was entitled to nursing funding during the time and should not have had to self fund her…

UC/LCWRA - Before 5/4/26 & Post 6/4/26
Hi Everyone, I have been searching and trying to find answers online, I have even asked UC, but they couldn't give a definite answer. I guess their advisors don't want to give incorrect information or put themselves in a difficult position. My 18 year old daughter has ESA credits only/in the support group status when she…

Housing benefit for pensioner if they sell their house
Hi, my mother in law is considering selling her house and buying a static on a luxury site. She receives the state pension and pip. Tribunal PIP
Had a phone call from PIP. I applied to tribunal as I've asked for high rate mobility following my PIP review. The representative asked me a few questions, all of which they already have the answers to from the paperwork. The representative didn't say what would happen, just said I will get a letter on the post. Why call…

Should I keep our joint bank account ?
A long time back my husband added me onto his bank account, so it became a joint account. This was because he has a longterm illness and was struggling to use his hands for signatures and his ability to speak on the phone. Childcare frequency impact on benefits
Hi, Unfortunately, I find myself in the unenviable position of a messy divorce. We have concluded the financial side of things and the divorce has been finalised, but I am fighting for 50/50 shared care of our two children. We have been through mediation, and the best agreement we could come to, was Sun / Mon / Tue nights…

High child benefit charge, repayment through salary, can anyone explain?
Hi. I owe £973 to HMRC for high child benefit charge. I opted to have this taken through payroll so repaid through my monthly salary. HMRC have adjusted my tax code to compensate for this to S1052L. So adjusted my tax code personal allowance by £2318. Can someone explain this as I just can't understand it when I only owe…

Does leaving a job, when you believe you're going to be fired, affect benefit eligibility?
I'm being put on a PIP at work. I'm aware that if I don't meet the objectives, I'll be fired, unless I'm lucky enough to be offered another role at the company. But, if there is no other role, it will be better for me in future job interviews etc to be able to honestly say that I resigned, rather than that I was fired. But…
