Youreable disability forum down?

Does anyone know if the Youreable forum has been taken down permanently? There's just a notice for site maintenance but it's been like this now for several weeks.

 youreable.livingmadeeasy.org.uk

One of the most helpful disability forums that I've been a member of for close to 10 years, it'd be such a shame if it's not coming back.

Sorry, the forum is unavailable at the moment for maintenance. We will be back as soon as possible.

    Thank you for your understanding.

17-11 is a long time for maintenance

    Might have to contact them

  • Yourable, Scope, Moneysavingexpert and Benefits and Work forums are probably at their most needed ever right now. There was much useful info shared by others on that forum as on this forum. Very strange that it is still 'under maintenance' - maybe a major upgrade is getting done.

Yourable forum regulars will recognise my username.

There is a new message on the Youreable forum homepage saying that it will be reopening by May 2023.

It will be interesting to see just what "additional development" means?

There is also a link to a short survey where you can give your thoughts about the Yourable forum.

PS. Yes I know there's a typo in my username here, (and in that post, twice), - to err is human.

    New info from Yourable

    1. Thank you for visiting the You'reAble Forum.

Following work in 2022, this website will remain closed to allow for additional development.  We anticipate this work will be completed by May 2023.

We appreciate the You'reAble forum is a valuable resource for many users, therefore we'd love to hear your views.

Hello Nuke, just seen your reply here, I've been messaging them via Twitter @DLFShawTrust and email no notification that they intended on closing it I guess we probably need an external contact for the forum members via social media. They told me that lots of people had been in touch worried and that they hoped to get it fixed by May. I know there will be many really worried that the forum was their only support. I looked the other day and it's all unavailable currently.

    There is something happening.
If you try to go there on mobile it now gives a message about a website coding error.
I guess it's being rewritten or changed onto different software.
PS. Notice my name change here?
