Yes absolute belter of a statement, either trying to disown and pass the buck or was annoyed and probably resigned. That's another thing the amount of resignation's is pretty substantial.

Being practical here, Youreable as it was is dead.
Even if some entity were to revive it now I certainly wouldn't be registering as a member again, and I doubt very much that many previous members would rejoin.
