TV Licensing withholding refund until set date
I have already paid up a year of my TV license within six months (as is standard), but have only had the licence since October. After much debacle (which is an entire story on its own) I finally got them to agree to a refund. We are moving house in two weeks, and are refusing to watch any TV, nor plug it in, etc. I have…

I (amongst many millions of customers) have, this morning - received the annual price increase letter, from Sky... Free view through Sky box
My daughter has been asking for Disney life and because I’m mean, I said, “Yeah sure, if we can cancel Sky.” Generally, the only reason I have Sky is for Disney and nickelodeon channels, but recently they haven’t been watching them as much as watch a lot of Netflix and YouTube. If I cancel Sky, can I still watch freeview…

Am I stronger as a returning or new Sky customer?
Hi Guys, I'd love your thoughts please. I'm thinking of returning to Sky. I left a year ago and in the next week or so it'll be the full 12 months, so I'm wondering if I'd be offered better deals as a customer who left within the last 12 months, or a new one if I leave it a couple of weeks - what do you think? I was…

Sky Alternative
Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I've tried to see other people's suggestions and think I have it clear in my head, but just wondered if anyone had anything else to say. I've been with Sky for the last seven nearly eight years, every year have haggled a better deal. I tried to do this today for the entertainment package,…

Sky and a disjointed contract
Apologies as I know this has probably been discussed before but I don't want to hijack anyone elses thread, any help making decisions would be appreciated, We have sky fibre and line rental but we are still in contract until May 18th so I don't have to think about these just yet (possibly only as a bargaining tool). In the…

What's the cheapest deal you can get with Sky?
I've had Sky for a few years and am down to the entertainment package at around £30 per month, which is too much for how little I use it. I have some stuff recorded which I'd like to keep and/or watch. I'd like to keep the Sky Plus recording facility to be able to use across whatever channels I have, but maybe just go on…

Wireless connecting second tv to Sky box, how?
Can anyone advise me what gadget/gizmo do I need to connect a second tv to my Sky Box wirelessly? Cheapest possible. I have a old-style big box tv with a Sky box (used for Freesat) in one room (which is cold!) and want to watch tv on my old-style combi tv/video player in another room (which is warm!). I know I can do this…

Do I need a SkyQ box/subscription?
My apologies, but I'm losing the will to live trying to find an intelligible answer from someone who isn't trying to sell me something. 1. I have a 4K/UHD TV. 2. I have a Sky+HD subscription with everything except Sky Sports. 3. Before I got the 4K TV, some programs I watch e.g. Blacklist said at the start "Also available…

Sky - Could I do better?
Hi, I've been a sky customer for about 3 years, particularly because my son wants Sky Sports. Sky seem to be forever sneaking the price up and I have to call to try to haggle it back down. I wanted to check if what I'm currently paying seems OK. We have Sky Sports (on my bill it says Box Sets with Sports), HD, multi room…
