SKY Multiroom

I currently have sky downstairs and a paid multiroom subscription for one bedroom. As well as this i have another sky plus box fully connected in a second bedroom which has only ever been used to receive freeview channels.
I would now like to have my subscription in both bedrooms.
When i asked sky about this they said i now have to take out a new subscription for a setup with the new Q boxes.
I dont really want the Q box system this as I already have 3 sky boxes fully connected and working at the moment.
Is there any way of getting my multiroom subscription added to the sky plus box which is connected in the second bedroom?

Probably not as Sky REALLY want you to upgrade to Q (with a new contract). You could try and keep bugging them until you find someone willing to click on a button that no doubt still exists but there's no guarantees.

I just called back, really helpful person this time sending me another viewing card and set up the new multiroom box for an extra £12 per month on a 31 day rolling contract.

Don't you already pay for multi-room on the 2nd box? I can't remember how Sky used to charge for it on HD+
