I'm getting a 2nd Sky box for bedroom, how much should I be paying for this and packages please?

Whatever you pay now plus the multiroom add-on which as far as SkyQ is concerned £12 a month, assuming its on the same package (think its the same cost as Sky+HD) as this work out considerably cheaper than having one account for the front room and another for the bedroom, assuming Sky will let you have this.0

We have just got Sky Q (2TB) and a 2nd box and will pay £12 more then we did for Sky+ HD.
Charges for the content (Entertainment,Sports, Movies or anything else) seem to be negotiated separately from Sky Q so the validity of any prices for content may be different than Sky Q 18 month contract term.
We only wanted Sky Q for the 4K content and were told we had to have a 2TB box to get 4K. From the reply above it appears we could have got the Sky Q 2TB without the 2nd Sky box for nothing.0 -

They insist that you take out multiroom to get 4K content which is actually only viewable through the main box (go figure).0 -
Thank you all.
I've been quoted £120 for the HD SkyQ box + 1 mini box at an additional £12 per month.
Has anyone achieved a better deal than this?0 -

I presume that's the 2TB box? If so do you actually need that or would the 1TB box do, you lose 4K content (main box only) and a slightly lower number of channels you can record at one time, you also "only" get the standard remote rather than the touch one. I think they'd only charge £20 for the 1TB box but this would vary. I'm a 10 year customer so can get the 2TB box for £20 plus the £12 a month extra (it's the £12 extra a month I won't pay for) through the VIP scheme. How long have you had Sky with out a break?0 -

Would your 2TB box require a visit by Sky to replace your 1TB box?
We were charged £70 (and the £12 extra per month) for the 2TB box but that included a new dish, LNB (Hybrid) and installation for the new boxes.0 -

I'm on HD+ so they'd have to come out to replace the LNB at least. We only moved (and had a new dish and cabling put up) around 5 months ago so it would be simple enough for them.0 -
Thanks All,
Colin, 3 + year customer, have managed to get Sky Q 2TB box multi room for £40 at mo but aiming for your £25. Will update.0
