Sneaky Sky

Options
Just found out today that we have been paying for Sky Variety £32 since January when we were able to get the same package (Entertainment) for £20.

Surely Sky should have notified us of the possible saving considering they scrapped the Variety package altogether?

    Surely not.
  • And don’t call me Shirley.
  • It's not like they hid the launch of the Entertainment package, not particularly sneaky really.
  • So its not sneaky to continue to over charge an existing customer knowing full well others get the same thing for over a third less?

An email explaining the change and how to switch would have been appreciated.

I'm willing to bet there was an e-mail.

Even if not....dont you check your sky bill every month.
  • 100% no email double checked before I posted on here.

Checking bill wouldn't have made any difference as only found out today about different cost.

I'm not expecting anything back but just came on here for advice.

They do not tell you as they have no reason to. However if you ever go to their website the current options are obvious. And you probably go an email about the new packages. Unelss you told them not to send you email. In which case. You know.

They cannot automatically switch you as switching sets up a new 12 month service agreement.

No, there was no email as I'm on Boxsets albeit at 50% off so under the £20. That said I'm not daft enough to paying full price anyway :)

    18 months when it launched.
