I can't find anything on this. If I use the TV only to keep burglars at bay when I go out, and only the cat is watching, do I need a license?

Cheapest way to add Netflix to Sky

Freesat - multiple TVs
I am meant to be moving soon to an area that has no cable provision, or Freeview. It doesn't even have an aerial (obvs because nothing would be picked up on it!) I had never heard about Freesat until the kind people at Freeview told me (after confirming I will be in the very small percentage of areas they don't cover). The…

Record and catch-up TV
For more years than I can remember we had sky for sports etc. My husband passed away a few months ago, and I have now cancelled the Sky contract as I only really watch terrestrial stations. Is there a way I can pause and record or watch catch-up TV without paying a monthly fee? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hi folks, daft question maybe but I'm clueless about these things. Moved into new flat, hunted high and low, no aerial socket..... Landlord later tells me there's never been a socket in there but he could perhaps run a cable from elsewhere ( it's one huge house separated into flats really). I've got a tv with freeview but…

Sky TV - accepted offer, but they still cancelled
I had the full Sky Q TV service at a 50% deal which was due to end this week. My monthly cost was around £40, this included 1 Sky Q Mini at £12. I gave my 31 days notice (31 days ago) and was given a couple of offers to stay, none of these were close to what I was paying (or willing to pay). On the sky.com/mydeal page,…
