PAYM text message
I have received a text from PAYM and, having never received this before or know what this is, I'd like to ask if it's a legit text message? The text message stated that someone was trying to send me some money and there was a link to the website. Unfortunately at first glance I thought it was spam and have deleted it. I…

Myppirefund
I received an email from Myppirefund today stating I owed them £551 as they stated they helped my claim £2221. I contacted them early this year regarding investigating outstanding PPI. I received forms from them to send off to companies I may have had PPI matters with. As a side note the forms were actually filled out by…

Statute barred debt and ppi
Hello, I wonder if anybody could help, I have 2 statute barred debts. If I made an enquiry for ppi refund through a 3rd party, would this mean that the debt would be "live" again? I appreciate of course that anything claimed would likely be used to reduce the debt. Any advise would be appreciated

Is my case worth an FOS Complaint?
I have had a claim against MBNA open since May 2019 and they have now written to me suggesting the case may take a further 28 days to conclude. Any point in complaining to the FOS as this is likely to take a fair while when they investigate. Thanks

Red Star Invoice...
Good afternoon, I have a number of questions if someone would be kind enough to help me out. Firstly, I got a letter from Barclays a week ago saying that although my previous claim back in Sept 2017 had been declined that they had in fact made an error and I was due compensation (good news) they also said that as I'd used…

PPI claim partially upheld - what next?
Good afternoon, Using the excellent guides on MSE, I managed to submit a number of complaints regarding mis-sold PPI. Is this address still used by HSBC?
Hi guys, I’m wondering if the following address still comes under HSBC: HSBC, Griffin House, 41 Silver Street Head, Sheffield S1 3GG. N.B I’ve read some articles dated June 2019/July 2019, which state the complex/building was sold to another firm, but then the articles also state that HSBC plan to move from there within…

Any advice, I'm confused
I used YourMoneyClaim to reclaim PPI on my Capital One card. For some reason they made two claims for the same card giving them each a different claim number. One was partly upheld and YourMoneyClaim forwarded me the Capital One cheque and I paid their fees. Shortly afterwards I received documents showing Capital One had…

House of Fraser Store Card
I had a House of Fraser store card when I was a student. I took it out in 1997. Santander are looking after the PPI complaints. I put in a complaint and they have said the sale of the PPI was not substantially flawed and on the Plevin sides it's time-barred. However, they have said that if I can send evidence that I was a…

During late 2012 and early 2013 I had a number of issues with Halifax around the three accounts (2 bank accounts & 1 credit card) I held with them. There…

PPI repayment taxable?
I understood from various sources that any PPI award was not treated as taxable by HMRC. I notified Tax credits of a repayment just to make sure, and am now in an unpleasant overpayment spat with them. Clarification anyone? Please.

Hi, Can anyone help with this? I made a claim for CPP in July and hadn't heard anything by October so I rang them.
