I have just filled in an online form with the ombudsman with all the…

I am claiming the tax back on PPI that I have successfully been awarded. My income has always been below the tax threshold . My question is, when I successfully reclaimed PPI for my late husband’s cards etc, tax was taken off at 20%. Can I claim back the 20% or should it have been 8%? Thank you.
