PPI rejections
Is anyone else getting notified that there were PPIs taken out in their name and attached to various accounts only to be told something like 'we have decided there is nothing to pay even though we can't find the original paperwork and here is a leaflet on how to complain through the Ombudsman? I have never knowingly taken…

Reclaiming late husband’s tax on PPI
I am claiming the tax back on PPI that I have successfully been awarded. My income has always been below the tax threshold . My question is, when I successfully reclaimed PPI for my late husband’s cards etc, tax was taken off at 20%. Can I claim back the 20% or should it have been 8%? Thank you.

Strange therefore that the interest on the account of almost £2000 has been paid to HMRC on my…

Ppi upheld but no refund
UKAR upheld my claim for PPI on my endowment mortgage but stated that as the policy acquired a maturity value in the time it was in force that must be off-set against the losses and consequently there has been no financial loss and no redress payable.
