Reclaiming PPI

Hi I was advised by a financial advisor to reclaim my mortgage PPI. I filled in the forms online and my claim is rejected by the providor and the seller saying i agreed to buy the insurance freely they also provide me with a copy of my emails fair enough I don't deny that.
But I thought the miss selling wasn't just whether it was pushed on you but that it wasn't worth the paper it was written on, should I go to the ombudsman or let it go ?

Nothing ventured nothing lost, HOWEVER, MPPI has a very low uphold rate and an even lower overturn rate at FOS so set your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed when they come back and say no.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

No. That is completely wrong. It was all about the sales process. Not the product. MPPI is one of two types of PPI that you can still buy today.
MPPI suffered fewer of the issues and tended to have better coverage and monthly premium standalone direct debit is exactly how PPI should have been set up. This is why most MPPI complaints fail.should I go to the ombudsman or let it go ?
Not sure why your financial adviser thought it was missold. You bought it. you were not sold it.0
